3 Different Ways 3 Different Prices

 I'm feeling inspired by floral now that NY1 told me it was going to be 74 degrees this weekend and now that I have my super cute floral romper, I am totally ready for spring!  I used polyvore to make these 3 sample outfits that vary greatly in prices. Here they are,

Two things that I never wear is print and rompers, but much to my surprise I found both of these things in my new favorite thing.  I feel like small floral print makes me look bigger than I am which I'm sure a lot of people can relate to and on top of that rompers can be super unflattering.  But now I have a whole new outlook after I tried this baby on and my wonderful boyfriend purchased it from Urban Outfitters for a grand $48. Take a gander. IT'S A SKORT!

Rant

I go on a lot of rants about many different things, and within these rants are lots and lots and lots of cursing.  I've got a mouth on me and if I had a dollar for every time my boyfriend shook his head at me and told me to watch my mouth I'd be rich.  I don't think he knew I was a part time sailor when he met me.  Now usually my ranting doesn't go anywhere but this one is.  Speaking of sailors lets look at some adorable sailor inspired swimsuits!(I don't know if that transition makes sense to anyone but me, but I'm gonna go with it)

This hairstyle has potential to be a staple in summer hair.  It's awesome!  It's great for when your hot because your hair is off of your body and its just altogether cute and easy.  All ya gotta do make two braids ( like pig tails) and just wrapping them around the bottom of your hair.  EASY.

I also thought I might add that my boyfriend is the coolest!

 I have had quite a large issue in my life for almost a year now, my hair won't stop turning orange!  I have red undertones in my hair and have just dyed it some many times that its so damaged it just will not hold any color and me dying it dark dark brown every time a little red sneaks through is not helping.  It's awful. I've always THOUGHT about dying my hair red.  I always envied women that looked perfect with red hair and thought that it would just be outlandish on me.

So recently I have been thinking about putting an end to the battle between me and my hair and just letting it win and dying my hair red.  I'm going to admit I am a huge loser and love giving myself virtual hair makeovers and out of all the websites I've used I have found http://www.taaz.com/makeover.html#tab=lipstick to be the best.  You just upload a picture of your self and you choose from the celebritys and put their hair on yourself.  I tried out the red hair but I wasn't so crazy about it and even more so than me not being to crazy my boyfriend HATED it.  So I will have to sit this battle and hopefully soon win the war.

Love in her eyes and flowers in her hair

One of my favorite songs is Going to California by Led Zeppelin.  It's so beautiful and there's just something about it that just makes me want to lay in the grass on a sunny day.  It also reminds me of one of my best friends who once when asked to describe me put it so lovely as to say "she's just filled with love"   I don't think I could ever ask anything better than that.  So when ever I listen to this song I turn myself in the girl out there with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair.  Above I was feeling ambitious and made a daisy chain, but if you want to follow the current trend of flower hair accessories I am here to give a couple of suggestions of super cute ones I've come across

Red Hot

Scarlett Johansson can rock a red lip, but so can everyone else.  I think its important to spruce yourself up every once and a while and red lipstick is perfect for this.  The most important part is finding a shade that suites your skin tone.  If you need a little help with this go into Sephora and ask for help picking your shade.  Below is Scarlett in a D&G campaign.

 Okay so this isn't something your wearing to the corner store but I am simply in love with it.  I want to own a silicone dress!  Yes, it's a little out there but they're beautiful.  Rachel Barrett designed all of the ones Lady Gaga wears in her videos and in her day to day life.  I don't know if this is just because I love Lady Gaga more than life and I don't know if I would ever actually wear it but nothing would make me happier than owning this dress.

Wet n Wild is some cheapo makeup that I usually totally disregard in my local drug store, but let me tell you their Mega Eyes defining marker is literally the most amazing eyeliner I've ever used.  It's so easy to apply and is a liquid liner so it last all day.  IT COST $3.99!  Great for winging your liner for a cat eye effect.

Glitter!

I've been to wear a lot of dark colors, according to my boyfriend too much.  So I've been thinking of how to add some flare to my lovely dark ensembles, SPARKLY SHOES!!!!

Penny for Your Thought

There is always something little that I do not have a home for on my desk whether it be my pennies or maybe rings.   An easy and cute fix for this is a tea cup, just throw them in!  This was an idea I got from my helpful pixies of www.pixiesdidit.com.  They are super great with life and organization tips.  Tea cups are beautiful and will look great on most desks and dressers.

Please no more leggings.

Okay so as the weather is warming up I'm dreading the amount of women walking around wearing leggings as pants.  Come on people 75% of the time you can see your underwear and everyone knows if your not wearing them at all because we can see all your business. Leave the leggings for under your skirts and dresses.  PLEASE. 

Now something I can deal with are jeggings.  I was first a skeptic but I think they're super faltering on almost everyone.  I recently bought a pair at top shop and they make me super happy. Guess what the best part is they always fit perfect for when your losing or gaining weight. 

God Bless Spanx

Okay so not all of us are in our best shape, and when I say this I mean we think were fat.  I wear Spanx when I have to wear a tight dress and I know I'm going to end up taking pictures.  They suck in my belly and I can dance around and not be self  conscious about my gut.  I was browsing the Victoria Secret catalog and I came across the most ingenious thing I have ever seen in my life, A SPANX SWIMSUIT.  In all my vain glory I decided this is something I am in dyer need of. 

I'm ready for summer to begin.  I'm ready for short shorts and big glasses, but lets just talk about the glasses for right now.  Here in NYC a great place to get sunglasses and anything vintage you can think of is Screaming Mimi's.(http://www.screamingmimis.com/)  They don't sell their glasses online but you can head to their store at 382 Lafayette street.  Below are just random glasses I thought were nice, enjoy.
